Bangor City’s two Europa League fixtures against Denmark’s Lyngby in August 2017 represented Kevin Nicholson’s first as a senior manager. He then oversaw his first Welsh Premier League fixtures when they hosted The New Saints – champions during the previous six seasons – at the VSM Stadium.

A Friday evening under the lights unexpectedly concluded with an impressive 5-2 victory inspired by an impressive attacking performance. Speaking exclusively to The Coaches’ Voice, Nicholson revisits the approach that proved so successful.
