After easing to a 4-0 victory over Bulgaria at Wembley, England hosted Kosovo at St Mary's, and were expected to secure another routine win in their pursuit of qualification for Euro 2020. Gareth Southgate made three changes to his starting XI, respectively replacing Kieran Trippier, Danny Rose and Marcus Rashford with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ben Chilwell and Jadon Sancho. But while they again excelled in the final third, they struggled in defence, having to recover from a losing position to eventually win 5-3 after failing to build on their 5-1 lead. The six points gained means England sit three clear of second-placed Czech Republic at the top of Group A. Our professional coaches analyse their past two performances.
