Origi (87)

Twelve months after Liverpool’s crushing 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid in Kiev, and six years after Borussia Dortmund fell to Bayern Munich at Wembley, it proved third time lucky for Jürgen Klopp in Champions League finals. The Liverpool manager oversaw his team beating Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham in Madrid. The eventual winners were awareded a penalty when Sadio Mané’s cross flicked from Moussa Sissoko’s shoulder to arm. Mo Salah then scored past Hugo Lloris, and from that point Liverpool worked hard to nullify Spurs' attacking threat. Pochettino’s side dominated possession, but was unable to beat Liverpool's impressive goalkeeper Alisson. When substitute Divock Origi finished hard and low into the far corner to give Liverpool a 2-0 lead, their sixth European Cup was won.
