Liverpool maintained their winning start to the Premier League season with a 3-1 victory over Arsenal. As last season, when the Reds won 5-1 in the fixture between the two teams at Anfield, Jürgen Klopp’s team convincingly outplayed Unai Emery’s. They were rewarded with a one-goal half-time lead courtesy of Joël Matip’s header, but all three points were essentially secured by the 58th minute, after Mo Salah had scored from the penalty spot and then added a fine individual effort that rendered substitute Lucas Torreira’s late goal for Arsenal little more than a consolation. Our experts explain how Liverpool were able to demonstrate the extent to which their visitors still need to improve in the latest in our series of video analyses.
