Only three coaches have led Borussia Dortmund to a Champions League final: Ottmar Hitzfeld in 1997, Jürgen Klopp in 2013, and most recently Edin Terzic in 2024. Certainly esteemed company for Terzic, who is regarded as one of the brightest young head coaches in football. And he needed all of his wits about him, to guide his team through a succession of challenging ties in the 2023/24 Champions League campaign, to reach a Wembley final against Real Madrid.
